GamerWhizz Guild WoW Raid Team GamerWhizz GamerWhizz Guild WoW

Here you will find information/expectations and the future of our PvE Raiding Team in GamerWhizz.

Currently we are busy progressing in the Antorus Mythic Raid with the GamerWhizz Raid Team. We are recruiting the following players:

  • Healers
  • Deathknights
  • Druids
  • Paladins
  • Mages
  • Affliction/Destruction Warlock.
  • Warriors

If your class or spec isn’t on this list we may be interested in you. However all classes and specs must meet the following criteria:

  • Have Legion Expansion
  • 800k Heals Per Second(Healers).
  • 1M damage Per Second(DPS).
  • DBM addon
  • Must be willing to watch tactics for boss fights before raid starts.
  • Attend 80% of Raid Events Gamerwhizz.

Our current progression day is Saturday with alt/trial runs on Wednesday/Thursday. For the first raid you MUST attend one of the Heroic raids with us so we can see how well you meet our criteria.

The GamerWhizz Raiding Rules

In order to raid effectively, we have a set number of rules in regards to loot and general etiquette whilst raiding.

    • Raid times are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 7:00 – 11:00 Pm Server time.
      • Invites start 10 minutes beforehand at 6:50 Pm Server.
      • 7:00 Pm Server is the start time for raids, not the time to ‘log on’.
      • If you are late, you are subject to being replaced by somebody else who is online.
    • Easy raid signups. Raid signups are handled using the in-game calendar, you don’t need to get any addons to download or need to visit the website. You can use either the calendar in-game, the mobile app or by logging into the Warcraft website. Signing up doesn’t always guarantee you a raiding spot, but it is greatly appreciated by the officers when you sign up to make decisions for any given raiding team.

When we raid, we take it seriously!

We only raid a few times each week, we want to make sure every moment counts. Real life of course can always be a factor and all sorts of unforeseen circumstances can happen all around you that require your attention. However we try to keep AFK breaks to a minimum, so if you decide to go make a snowman in the middle of the raid, that probably wont end too well. This also means:

  • Correct flasks, food and potions. Enough flasks, food and potions to cover the night which are relevant to your class.
  • Correct gems and enchants.
  • Research into progression bosses. Proper research into progressive bosses should be carried out by everyone. This generally boils down to reading a few forum threads and watching a video or two. No-one should be arriving and waiting for an explanation of their role.
  • Mythic Raiding Player Rotations. To maintain a healthy Mythic roster, we need to have more than 20 players who are ready to jump into Mythic. This does mean that on occasion players will need to sit out of a raid or a boss fight. We try to rotate people into Mythic raids as much as possible to keep it fair for everyone or if a certain raid composition requires it.
  • Raid Calls During Fights.
    • Cooldowns. During fights, if called to do something (ie healing cooldown, resurrect, swap targets etc) by the raid leader or role leader it should be done immediately without question. If you feel this isn’t a “good move” wait until either after that pull or after the raid to bring up any concerns.
    • Raid Wipes. When a wipe is called for by the raid leader, die as quick as possible. If someone can resurrect wait, if not release and get back/buff as quickly as possible.

Needed Items for Raiding depending on your spec

  • Flask of the Whispered Pact (Intellect)
  • Flask of the Seventh Demon (Agility)
  • Flask of the Countless Armies (Strength)
  • Flask of Ten Thousand Scars (Stamina)

  • Ancient Mana Potion (Healers/mana users)

  • Drums of Fury (to gain bloodlust)

The must have Addons for the Raid Team:

  • Pawn
  • Weakauras
  • Exorsus Raid Tools

The future of our raid team.

We will focus on building a good Raid Team, we will help gear up all the guild members that want to be a part of the Raid Team. The GamerWhizz Guild aims to clear mythic raids in the future as they did during the last tier of Battle for Azeroth.

If you wish to join our raid team please contact us on our discord channel, in game or through the contact page of the GamerWhizz website.

With kind Regards
